Honest limits

Grinding is slower than clipping — minutes per paw, not seconds — and it is not magic: a pet who hates paw handling will still hate paw handling. Introduce it off, then running but not touching, over several sessions. Take the tip only; if you reach the pink quick it will hurt and bleed, exactly as with clippers. Long-coated pets need fur held back, as it can catch.
