Honest limits

Cooling is relative to the room, not refrigeration — expect a few degrees below ambient, not a cold surface. The effect fades over a long lie-down and needs a short break to recharge. It is not a chew toy: a pet who chews bedding should not be left alone with a gel-filled mat, and you should retire it immediately if the cover is punctured.
