Fleece-Lined Winter Dog Boots — Set of 4

A set of four soft-sided booties with a cream sherpa cuff, a single velcro strap across the front, and a black rubber sole moulded with a raised grid for grip. They're built for cold, dry ground — winter pavement, gritted paths, frozen grass — and for dogs who lift one paw, then another, and decide the walk is over.

The sole is the useful part

The base is textured rubber rather than smooth plastic, which is what makes the difference on a frozen path — and on tile and laminate indoors. It wraps slightly up over the toe, so the first thing to scuff isn't the fabric.

Warm rather than waterproof

The upper is a brushed suede-look fabric lined with sherpa fleece. That lining is what makes them warm, and it means they handle a dusting of snow or a damp path comfortably — but for deep puddles or an hour of steady rain, a sealed rubber boot is the right tool. On a cold dry walk, these are a great deal more comfortable than one.

Getting the size right

These are cut for small and toy breeds, and boot sizing across the pet trade is famously inconsistent — so measure rather than guess. Stand your dog on a sheet of paper, mark either side of the widest part of a front paw, and measure between the marks. Order on paw width, not your dog's weight, and size up if you land between two.

Keeping them on

Fasten the strap firmly just above the ankle joint rather than on it. Most boots that go missing mid-walk were left loose because the fit looked tight — snug at the strap is right, and a few minutes indoors gets most dogs walking normally in them.

Care

Wipe clean or hand wash, then air dry away from a radiator. Skip the tumble dryer; the sole and the fabric don't shrink at the same rate.

This one ships direct from our overseas supplier, so plan on 2 to 3 weeks to reach you. Tracking is issued at dispatch but often sits quiet for the first week or so before it starts updating — that's normal for this route and not a sign anything has gone wrong.
